Privacy Policy

Short version:we don't collect much. SuperNYC has no accounts, no signup wall, and no email gate. The sections below explain exactly what happens when you use the site.

Analytics

We use Vercel Analytics to count visits and see which tools are popular. Vercel Analytics is cookieless and doesn't track users across sites. It collects aggregate request data (URL, referrer, country, device type) and posts events to a same-origin endpoint on our domain, without retaining personally identifying information. Advertising

We display ads via Google AdSense. AdSense may set cookies and use device identifiers to personalize the ads you see. Google's practices are described in their ads policy. You can manage ad personalization in your Google Ad Settings. A content blocker will stop AdSense from loading without breaking any tool on this site.

If you're in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you'll see a consent banner on your first visit where you can accept or decline personalized advertising. Your choice is stored locally and remembered for future visits. The banner doesn't appear for users outside these regions.

Third-party vendors

Google AdSense may share certain data with third-party advertising partners to serve ads. You can opt out of personalized advertising industry-wide via aboutads.info (DAA) or networkadvertising.org (NAI).

Accounts

There are no user accounts on SuperNYC. The site has no signup form, no login system, and no infrastructure for storing user identities. We don't know who you are when you visit, and we have no way to associate visits with individuals. If we add email alerts (for example, next-day alternate-side notifications), this section will be updated.

Scam-check tool

The scam-check tool analyzes pasted listings entirely in your browser. We don't transmit, log, or store the listing text on our servers.

Data retention

We don't retain anything that could identify individual users. Vercel Analytics aggregates visit data per Vercel's own retention rules and is never associated with an individual. We have no logs of which user visited which page. Server logs from our hosting provider (Vercel) are retained per Vercel's policies and we don't access them except to investigate operational issues.

Your rights

If you're in the EU, UK, California, or another region with specific data protection rules, you have rights to access, correct, or delete information held about you. Because SuperNYC doesn't store personal information, there's typically nothing to access or delete on our end. For ads-related data, manage your preferences via Google Ad Settings. If you previously made a consent choice and want to change it, you can do so via the consent management link that Google injects on pages for users in covered regions, or by clearing your browser cookies for this site to trigger the banner again on your next visit.

Children's privacy

SuperNYC isn't directed to children under 13. We don't knowingly collect information from children. If a parent or guardian believes their child has used the site, contact us at hello@supernyc.com.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site evolves. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent change.
